This fall she has been working with seven girls ages to create an original piece of theatre around an issue of importance in their lives. Early on, she worked as a legal advocate for women in domestic violence cases. While she does suggest dipping a toe in to see if the classes will ultimately be beneficial to their career, at the end, people do come out with important relationships and skills useful in a variety of professional contexts.
Both are girla graders at Herberg Middle School and bundles of energy, listing basketball and dance as their passions alongside theatre.

The biographies of the remarkable girls are punctuated with song, dance, and improvisation, which the young performers tackle with evident glee. This year, they host the first-ever Berkshire Leadership Summita conference for women and female-identified theatre leaders waj around the country, providing them with workshops and connecting them with mentors so that they can build relationships and networks in the industry.
For 11 years it showcased the early work of emerging women filmmakers. This expanded program will focus on working with the participants on creating gigls works of theatre around issues of importance in their lives.
Becca, Barby, and Marilyn While Barby has 25 years of theatre experience as an actress and an wwam teaching artist working with young people of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings, her assistant, Girls Inc. Listserv, but have not been involved in the festival.
